“It’s the best day of the week!”, long-time volunteer, Priscilla, stated when asked about her experience as a cat caregiver at Animal Advocates. Priscilla joined the organization soon after she retired over 15 years ago and arrives every Tuesday morning to provide care to cats housed at Animal Advocates’ HQ.

If you haven’t visited the Animal Advocates Thrift Shop lately or ever, you must stop by. The shop has undergone a facelift over the past three years thanks to grant funding and hard-working volunteers. Fresh paint, new flooring, and revamped displays – plus the creative contributions of volunteers – have transformed the shop into a bright, eclectic space.

The stories of Rooney, Blu, Duchess and Clyde and Zoe reflect the commitment and dedication of Animal Advocates to the “rescue, rehabilitate, rehome” framework, and all of the animals entrusted in the organization’s collective care.
