Our Thrift Shop and online stores are the place to go for seasonal goods and stylish clothing and accessories

As Animal Advocates has grown and evolved, our Thrift Shop has become an increasingly productive fundraising avenue for our work. That growth is all thanks to a dedicated group of regular volunteers who run the shop as if they were running their own business.

Over the last year, the Shop Team has become more organized and strategic in planning and promoting seasonal and one-time discount sales, and their approach has benefitted our mission, and the animals we help, a great deal.

Animal Advocates has also been actively fundraising online through the help of Nadia Hinedi, a board member and volunteer. She started a pair of online shops a couple of years ago, quickly realizing the rescue can do more to increase revenues by expanding beyond our regional footprint.

Nadia sells donated merchandise on two online platforms, Poshmark and Depop, under the name @aacatcuddles. This online presence provides a wider venue for both animal lovers and fashonistas to buy new and used clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry and home goods!”

SUPPORT ANIMAL ADVOCATES THROUGH OUR ONLINE SHOPS

Animal Advocates has a massive national following on these platforms which Nadia single-handedly acquired, with nearly 32,500 followers and over 1,000 listings!

Nadia and other members of our Shop Team have also has successfully participated in and organized several live vendor events on behalf of Animal Advocates, with nearly $7,000 raised in 2024, all of which goes directly to the cost of caring for our animals.
