SUMMARY:Blessing of the Animals at Unity Presbyterian Church
DESCRIPTION:Join Animal Advocates at Unity Presbyterian Church’s Blessing of the Animals on Saturday\, June 4 from 10:30am to 1:30pm (1146 Greentree Road\, Pittsburgh 15220). Unity’s Pastor Dennis W. Molnar will offer blessings on the half-hour to pets in the courtyard garden of the church.  A lovely commemorative “Certificate of Blessing” will be created for each pet. \nParticipating pets must be current on vaccinations. Dogs should be secured on non-retractable leashes. A doggie rest area and water station will be available.  Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable pet food item for a special collection drive to benefit several pet local shelters. \nThe celebration will also include:\n– A basket raffles.\n– A pet photo booth.\n– Pet treat bags donated by Hollywood Feed Store (formerly PetPeople).\n– Hot food from Uncle Kenny’s BBQ\, and cool treats from Graeters Ice Cream truck.\n– Animal balloons created on-site by Dragonfly Balloons. \nMore information about Unity’s Blessing of the Animals may be obtained by emailing pfrost@unitypresbyterianchurch.org.  Pre-registering with your pet’s name by calling the church at 412-561-2431
